Extech EX800/EX900 ExStick Water Quality Kits

Extech EX800/EX900 ExStick® water quality kits are complete water quality assessment packages that include the Extech CL200 chlorine meter. Interchangeable flat surface electrodes are included to allow the CL200 to perform surface measurements of not only chlorine, but also pH, ORP, and temperature.

Extech EX800/EX900 ExStick® water quality kits can be configured as 4-in-1 kits (EX900) which measures pH, chlorine, ORP, and temperature, or as 3-in-1 kits (EX800) which measures pH, chlorine, and temperature. Both Extech EX800/EX900 ExStick® water quality kits contain advanced features which make them versatile and accurate tools that work in liquids, semi-solids, and solids.

The meter used in these kits, the Extech CL200 chlorine meter, has a large 3-1/2 digit (2000 count) digital display which simultaneously displays ppm or pH and °C/°F temperature. The display also includes an analog bar graph to indicate trends. The unit’s internal memory stores and recalls 15 readings and saves the last calibrated value. Indicators show the user when the reading is stabilized. Other functions of the meter include data hold, auto shut-off, low battery indication, and automatic temperature compensation.

Extech EX800/EX900 ExStick® water quality kits also include a number of features that take the guesswork out of assessing water quality. The meter self-calibrates for chlorine and ORP; simple 1, 2, or 3 point buffer calibrations are used for pH. A “CAL” indicator prompts users as to when pH electrode calibration is required. Additionally, a smart chip predicts pH electrode performance and a “RENEW” indicator alters users when replacement is needed. The meter incorporates a waterproof design that floats in wet environments.
